Reading Log
Students are expected to complete 150 minutes of reading each week and document it on their Reading Log. 150 minutes of reading each week equates to 2.5 hours of reading. That's thirty minutes of reading, five days per week!
The Reading Log is organized to document one week at a time and the due date is always listed in the top left corner. Students will submit their Reading Log every week for a grade. All components of the Reading Log must be filled out and signed by a parent.
Below are two files; the one on the top "reading_log" is a blank copy for in case anyone ever needs an extra. The one below "reading_log_example" is an example of how the minutes should be added up each week. Please encourage your student to do the math and solve for the number of minutes he or she had read throughout the week.
